CDDB Information
CDDB® information retrieves the album name, artist name, and track information of the currently loaded audio CD from the online CD database. You can search the FreeDB database through its Web site. This database contains information about the artist, song title, or album.
Display Information on a CD
To display information on a CD, take the following steps:
| 1. | Select the CD-ROM drive containing the CD for which you want to retrieve information. |
| 2. | Click the Refresh button or popup menu item. |
Tip
| • | Selecting the Refresh option sends the unique ID of the CD to the CDDB database, which returns the information stated above. You can copy any of the available information to the Windows clipboard from the right-click popup menu items. |
