Connect: Connects to the video capture source. When this occurs, the video display then shows in the viewing area.

Disconnect: Disconnects from the video capture source.

Start Recording: Begins the process of capturing video using the settings and output path defined.

Stop Recording: Stops the recording process.

Overlay Bitmap: Inserts a selected image into the video. Settings are provided for defining the position at which the image will be inserted as well as a transparent color.

Process Video:

Brightness: Adjusts the brightness of the video for playback and/or recording.
Contrast: Adjusts the contrast of the video for playback and/or recording.
Gamma: Adjusts the gamma of the video for playback and/or recording.
Hue: Adjusts the hue of the video for playback and/or recording.
Saturation: Adjusts the saturation of the video for playback and/or recording.
Sharpness: Adjusts the sharpness of the video for playback and/or recording.

Enable Overlay: Overlay video does not travel through main memory and consumes almost no CPU resources. It is, therefore, ideal for capturing video for long periods of time or when other processes are required to be running. However, frame grabbing is not possible in overlay mode. Adding text and images to the video is also not available in overlay mode. For overlay to be enabled, it must be supported by the capture device.

Save Text Overlay Settings: Saves the settings defined in the interface for Text Overlay fields.

Save Crop Settings: Saves the settings defined in the interface for Crop fields.

Scale Video Display: Enabling this option displays the video so that it fits in the available area. Disabling this setting displays the video in the exact size being captured.

WebCam Settings: Defines the settings to be used when accessing WebCam video. Options include FTP server address, username, password, path, filename, and the ability to upload a frame at a user-defined interval.

Exit: Closes the window.
